Ruckus Rockwell came from Play Club which started in New York City in 2011. Since then Play Club has developed branches in Los Angeles and New Orleans. Ruckus often works closely with the Los Angeles Artistic Director, Emily Clark, on several projects including "13th Grade".
The Runaway Clone, written by Jonathan Brenner and Pam Eberhardt, began in 2014 in New York City and was chosen to participate in the 2015 NYMF (New York Musical Theatre Festival) Developmental Reading series. It is a musical comedy about cloning in the future.
Ruckus Rockwell began a series in New York city called "Drunk Sing Thrus". Audiences arrive, receive lyric sheets with their part highlighted and participate in an evening of nostalgic singing with featured soloists.
Outrageous Fortune, a play which highlights the flaws in our Justice System, was taken to Salem MA and presented as a staged reading to the Law department at the University of Salem. The social commentary of this piece is a huge passion project for Ruckus Rockwell and will definitely be picked up again!
