All Marvel Movies: Ant-Man

So I'm watching all the Marvel Movies by Release date and Here's what I thought of ANT MAN - I. Love. Paul. Rudd. I. Love. Michael. Pena. I. Love. Evangeline. Lily. This is the modern Honey I Shrunk The Kids that we all deserve. How much money did Baskin Robins make/spend for this product placement?? So Paul Rudd gets arrested for basically being Robin Hood and he gets out of San Quentin with out a tattoo - tries to steal the Presidents rubies from Alan Shephard and ends up Ant Man. I dig. When Annoying bald guy first introduces the concept of Antman with all the videos of the little man fighting soldiers I literally said "stop" to the screen. It was ridiculous. but they knew it. Just like they knew it with the intense score behind the bug fight on Thomas The Engine. This movie was great at making fun of itself. I appreciated the Titanic jokes. NOT OKAY WITH THE LAMB DYING! NOT OKAY WITH THAT. I have two movie rules. Nothing happens to babies or animals! Loved the training montage. but the villain in this one did nothing for me. He was un interesting and I found him non threatening. When the climax of the movie is a fight scene on a toy thomas engine that they poke fun at, you know the stakes aren't that high. I really liked the line "Whose Pajamas are these?" My favorite moment was tied between the discovery of the kissing ( I like that they didn't make a big deal out of it) and Michael Pena's reaction after the last line "He said Yes". Bahahaha. I give this movie a B+ (My first B+)
