All Marvel Movies: Thor 'The Dark World'
So I'm watching all the Marvel Movies by Release date and Here's what I thought of THOR: THE DARK WORLD. So I actually didn't hate this one as much as I thought I would. And as much as everyone kept telling me I would. First of all, In a movie any time someone's instructions are to "Bury it deep, somewhere where no one will find it...." .... we all know what's going to happen. We've all seen Jumanji. CHRIS ODOWD - Another adorable Chris we must choose from! Well, his character's an idiot though... Kat Dennings shows up in a full winter coat and hat and he mistakes her for... a waitress. I've never traveled overseas, so maybe that's what they wear? Someone let me know. Kat Dennings: "An astrophysicist with three degrees should be able to change her own ring tone" At least they call Jane out on being useless. This is such a good character for Kat. "Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't" - Okay Little kid, let's take it easy on the nail head. So I'm into this movie until Blue eyed Albino Lucius malfoy keeps popping up, Ponytail braid still in tact... then I'm reminded how very uninterested I am in this villain. Yaaassss Rene Russo protecting Natalie Portman! Her death was badass and i actually felt something for a character in Thor. So that's... something. Loki finding out - nice little 'f*ck you, furniture!' moment. If guy was able to throw his sword on the 'invisible spaceship' then why couldn't Thor's hammer hit it after it went invisible again? Again, Natalie Portman has got to be the most beautiful person in any world, right? Obviously I love the Brothers workin' together!! Just warmed my heart. And as DEFINITELY SUPER bummed AF as I was when Loki got stabbed and supposedly died I was equally as confused and annoyed when he showed up on the throne at the end. PS Richard calling her in Asgard was maddening... so stupid. Favorite lines: ""It's as if they resent being in prison" and "I better get my pants". Favorite moment: Thor on the subway and the woman falls into him. I give this movie a C+
